Annual Meeting - February 25, 2010 - Avanti's, Peoria, IL
Nearly 50 FOF members and youth exchange families gathered at the Avanti’s restaurant on Knoxville Avenue in Peoria in February 2010. While this was a business meeting, the constant hum of chatter and laughter told anyone looking in that this was also a gathering of friends! A loop of images from 2009’s activities played, reminding us of fun times spent together in warmer weather. A video of last year’s exchange, when Peoria played host to German teen guests, brought smiles to students and parents alike. Finally, a brief business meeting elected new officers, with Eric Hoadley assuming the presidency, Sue Ramey moving to VP-Programs, Duane Zehr becoming VP-Membership and Kim Holdham taking the publicity chair. Thanks to everyone who came!
